Case summary
A resident of Pskov advocated for the independence of the Pskov region. In December 2023, he participated in the "Forum of Free Peoples of Post-Russia," where they represented the "Pskov Republic." In the same month, he was included in the list of terrorists and extremists by Rosfinmonitoring. On September 13, 2024, a court in Moscow arrested Tarasov in absentia on charges of participating in the activities of an extremist organization and spreading "fake news" about the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation
