Case summary
Teteneva, a cleaner from the city of Kurgan, was first reported on 28 February 2024 to be under investigation for spreading false information about the Russian Armed Forces. She was placed under a travel restriction order. Later, reports emerged that she had also been charged with publicly justifying terrorism. On 25 June 2024, she was sentenced to eight years in a general regime penal colony.
