Case summary
A resident of Pskov, a technical college student, who worked as a press operator at a sewing factory. A criminal case was opened against him for publicly justifying terrorism due to comments in support of the ‘Russian Volunteer Corps’ and the ‘Azov’ battalion. On 8 August 2025, Timofeyev was sentenced to 2 years and 6 months’ imprisonment in a general-regime penal colony.
