According to the investigation, "On 17 September 2019, the defendant voluntarily joined the banned terrorist regiment "Azov", after which he was sent to the training camp of the terrorist community, where he was trained to carry out terrorist activities from October to December 2019. In the period from 17 September 2019 to 17 May 2022, Tkachenko was on combat duty at posts, guarded objects under the regiment's control, maintained weapons and military equipment, ensured its safety and combat capability, performed other tasks according to his position, thus ensuring the implementation of terrorist activities by members of the community".
