According to "Mediazona", Trofimchuk’s case includes two episodes. On 9 October 2024, a post appeared on the "Telegram" channel "Enerhodar Today" saying: 'The first point of the "victory plan" is Ukraine in NATO — Zelenskyy.' In the following post, the channel’s administrators asked subscribers: 'What do you think the second point is? Write in the comments.' Trofimchuk replied: 'Plan 2: burn down or blow up all of Russia.' In the ensuing discussion with other users, he added several more comments, including: 'As long as Russia exists, there will be war, and the bald bastard Putya will keep saying there is a reason for it,' and 'I’ve been living under occupation for three years and can see what the Russian scum are doing.' The investigators classified these statements as calls for terrorism. On 12 April 2025, in a chat with around 40 subscribers, Trofimchuk left a one-word comment — 'Shoot them' — under a photograph of three teenagers holding a Russian flag. This led to an additional charge of calls for extremism.

Full summary
A resident of the occupied village of Velyka Bilozerka in Zaporizhzhia Region, southern Ukraine. A criminal case was opened against him on charges of calling for terrorism and extremism over comments posted on "Telegram".
Law enforcement officials said they identified calls for terrorism in comments stating that it was necessary to "burn down or blow up all of Russia" and that "as long as Russia exists, there will be war, and the bald scumbag Putya will say there is a reason for it". A call for extremism was identified in a comment left under a photo of teenagers with a Russian flag, in which Trofimchuk wrote: "Shoot them."
During the investigation, Trofimchuk was held in a remand centre. On 14 January 2026, a court sentenced him to five and a half years in a general-regime penal colony.
