Case summary

A resident of Ulan-Ude. He was prosecuted for vandalism because of a torn banner in support of a "special military operation". The first sentence was supposedly handed down in October 2023, but on 24 January 2024, the appeal court overturned it and sent the case for a new trial. On 15 February 2024, Tushinov was sentenced to a year of restrictions on freedom.
