Case summary

A resident of Tatarstan, veteran of the national movement, local historian, journalist, ran a museum-library of the repressed Tatar public activist, historian-turkologist Hadi Atlasi. A case was opened against him for publicly justifying terrorism and discrediting the Russian Armed Forces. On 5, December, 2024, he was taken into custody. The Telegram channel of the Government of Independent Tatarstan in Exile claims that the reason for the case was anti-war publications on the Internet.
