Five anti-war publications in the Tatar language were the reason for the case on discrediting the Russian Armed Forces; the case on calls for terrorism was initiated by the publication of a video with an address of the Legion of Freedom of Russia to Russians. Full summary
A resident of Tatarstan, veteran of the national movement, local historian, journalist, ran a museum-library of the repressed Tatar public activist, historian-turkologist Hadi Atlasi. A case was opened against him for publicly justifying terrorism and discrediting the Russian Armed Forces. On 5, December, 2024, he was taken into custody. The Telegram channel of the Government of Independent Tatarstan in Exile claims that the reason for the case was anti-war publications on the Internet.
