Case summary

An anarchist, he has organised music festivals (such as Rock Protects Animals), published the rock magazine Punk Revival, and held "Food Not Bombs" events.

On the 4th of January 2023, Wilczewski's house was searched as part of a criminal case for "public justification of terrorism" because of a post made about Mikhail Zhlobitsky, who committed a suicide bombing at a Federal Security Service Directorate building in the Arkhangelsk Region. He wrote an admission of guilt. After that, the anarchist was help in custody at the pre-trial detention centre. On the 27th of June 2023, he was sentenced to two years of imprisonment. Wilczewski was released on the 28th of December 2024.
