The reason for the prosecution was an anti-war post with two photos that Volsky published in 2022 to mark five months since the start of the Russian invasion of Ukraine. "It's already the fifth month of war and people are dying. The results of a new strike by the Russian Air Force on residential neighbourhoods in Kiev. When will this nightmare end?" - he wrote in Instagram.
