Case summary

On 5 June 2021 he was detained on the street, his home was searched. On 7 June, the court decided to send Yagovitov under house arrest in the case of participation and involvement in the activities of an extremist organisation. On 29 December he was taken into custody at the request of the prosecutor, who stated that Yagovitov "systematically violated the execution of the preventive measure in the form of house arrest". On 24 February 2022, the court returned the case to the prosecutor's office. In June, the case came back to court. On 10 October, he was sentenced to five years suspended sentence.
