Case summary

Resident of the Chelyabinsk region. In April 2024, her car got stopped by two FSB vehicles when she was travelling to work, the RosFines project reports. Before the interrogation her phone was seized, after she has been coerced into unlocking it. A case of public justification of terrorism was brought against Yusupova, because a year earlier she left a comment under a post about the sentencing of two region locals for setting fire to a military recruiting office - most likely Alexei Nuriev and Roman Nasryev. After the interrogation, Yusupova was released on recognisance not to leave. On the 26th of September 2024, she was sentenced to pay a fine of six hundred thousand rubles.
