Case summary

A resident of Omsk. In February 2024, he was detained on charges of publicly justifying terrorism due to a comment expressing approval of the murder of war correspondent Vladlen Tatarsky. The comment was posted when Zhigulyov was still a minor. Physical force was used during his detention. Zhigulyov was taken into custody. In December 2024, it became known that he had been released. It is unknown whether another measure of restraint was applied to him. On 9th April 2025, Zhigulyov was sentenced to a fine of 40,000 rubles.
