Case summary

A resident of Volgograd. In October 2024, he was detained. He was prosecuted for public justification of terrorism and confidential cooperation with foreigners: according to the investigation, he contacted representatives of an organisation "controlled" by the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defence of Ukraine and on their instructions left a comment on the Internet approving the activities of "Ukrainian terrorist organisations". On 29 October 2025, Zhuravlev was sentenced to seven years in a general regime colony.
