Case summary
A native of Moscow, he apparently lived in the Novosibirsk region. On 20 May 2025, he was taken into custody on charges of assisting terrorism and high treason. According to the investigation, he transferred money to his acquaintance Danila Likhanov, who, in turn, was accused of transfers to the "Russian Volunteer Corps" in cryptocurrency. It was reported that during the search Zolotenkii was seized "literature, stickers, elements of the Third Reich uniform, indicating the defendant's support of right-wing radical ideology". On 16 February 2026, he was sentenced to 14 years in a strict regime penal colony.
