Case summary
Resident of Tulun (Irkutsk region). At the end of June 2023, he was arrested for 15 days under an administrative article for displaying prohibited symbols because of leaflets of the Freedom of Russia Legion. Apparently, shortly thereafter, Belkovich was taken into custody as part of a criminal case, since in August 2023 he was already included in the terrorist list of Rosfinmonitoring. The reason for the case was the same leaflets of the Freedom of Russia Legion, which Belkovich allegedly distributed on behalf of its member. On 22 May 2024 Belkovich was sentenced to 13 years in a strict regime colony.
