Case summary
A resident of Makhachkala. A case was brought against her for desecration of symbols of military glory in connection with brewing coffee on the Eternal Flame. On 28 May 2024, she was sentenced to a two-year suspended sentence. On 13 August 2024, the court of appeal cancelled the sentence due to the fact that it was passed by a district court and not the Supreme Court of Dagestan, as it should be by law. On 4 March 2025, Alieva was given a one-year suspended sentence when the case was retried. This sentence was also cancelled by the court of appeal. On 17 November 2025, Alieva was sentenced to a fine of two million roubles.
