The reason for prosecution under the article on participation in the activities of an extremist organization was publications about work in the Anti-Corruption Foundation. Participation in the activities of a terrorist organization was imputed because Arshinova, according to the investigation, established contact with a representative of the banned terrorist organization Legion "Freedom of Russia" in 2024. Then entered into correspondence via messenger Telegram, after which, following the instructions of the curator, was engaged in the placement of symbols of the organization and its popularization; engaged in discrediting the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation.

Full summary
An activist from Nizhny Novgorod. On 17 July 2025, she was detained and arrested in the case of an extremist organization. Later, it became known that she was charged with participation in the activities of an extremist organization in connection with publications about her work at the Anti-Corruption Foundation.
In November 2025, it became known that Arshinova was also charged with participation in the activities of a terrorist organization in connection with correspondence found in her phone, allegedly with a "curator" from the Freedom of Russia Legion.
In 2021, the activist was searched in the "sanitary case" due to her participation in the rally in support of Navalny on January 23. This case involved her as a witness.
