On 3 April 2019, detained on suspicion of attacking police officers during a rally against the transfer of land to Chechnya on 27 March. On 5 April, sent to the pre-trial detention centre in Nalchik. On 26 May, he was released on his own recognisance. Later the prosecution was terminated.
