Case summary

Alla Bespalova is the wife of Isa Rahimov, who was sentenced to 16 years in a strict regime colony in the Hizb ut-Tahrir case. On 24 November 2017, she was detained, with the St. Petersburg FSSB initially reporting that Bespalova was the leader of a Hizb ut-Tahrir cell, but later it was reported that Bespalova was a member of the cell. Bespalova was taken into custody.

On 18 July 2018, the Moscow District Military Court, based on the Leningrad District Military Court, sentenced Bespalova to five years in a general regime colony.

In April 2020, Bespalova was released on parole.
