Case summary
A resident of Chelyabinsk. No later than November 2023, he was detained and taken into custody on charges of high treason for transferring SIM cards to the AFU. He was later transferred to Moscow. On 20 October 2025, Blinov was sentenced to 14 years in a strict regime colony. The Prosecutor General's office reported that the sentence was passed by the 2nd Western District Military Court. At the same time, there is no case card on the court's website, and why the sentence in the case of state treason against civilians was handed down by the District Military Court (and not the Central Military Court at that). Perhaps this is due to the particular importance of the case, since, according to the investigation, the cards were used in drone attacks on the Soltsy-2 airbase in the Novgorod region and the Shaikovka military airfield in the Kaluga region in August 2023.
