An activist of the StopHam movement, which fights against improper parking. In June 2022, Bunin and two other activists of the movement had a conflict with law enforcers over improper parking. The activists claim that the officers attacked them. On 25 June 2022, Bunin was taken into custody in a case of hooliganism and use of violence against a representative of the authorities. On 19 February 2024, he was sentenced to six years in a general regime colony. On 24 October 2024, the court of appeal cancelled the sentence and returned the case to the prosecutor's office.
