Case summary
On 28 December 2021, Butakov was searched. He was issued a preventive measure in the form of a ban on certain actions in the case of activity of an extremist association and a non-profit organization infringing on the personal and civil rights of citizens. Later, the charges related to the extremist association were dropped due to the fact that Butakov testified against other defendants. On 16 January 2023, he was sentenced to a year of restriction of freedom.
