Case summary

On 11 July 2013, he was interrogated as a witness in a criminal case initiated in connection with retweeting a message containing a photo of an opposition leaflet with the headline "Stop going to rallies and start acting!"; his home was searched, during which hard drives of a personal computer were seized; on 6 November, he was detained on the street and taken to a senior investigator of the investigation department of the regional department of the FSB, the same day he was charged with calls for extremist activity and personal recognizance not to leave was chosen as the measure of restriction. On 12 March, he was not allowed to speak in court either in the debate or with the last word. On 7 May Kalinichenko was granted amnesty.

In November 2022, Kalinichenko was reported to have been put on the wanted list of extremists and terrorists of Rosfinmonitoring. On 1 December, the court arrested him in absentia on the case of organising activities of an extremist community.
