Case summary

On 23 March 2022, Shkolina was searched. On 31 March it became known that she is a suspect in the case of participation in an extremist community, initiated against Aleksei Navalny and his supporters. She has given a written pledge not to leave the country. On 8 April it was reported that Shkolina was charged with participation in an extremist community and in a non-profit organisation that infringes on the personality and rights of citizens. In July it became known that Shkolina had left Russia. She was put on a wanted list. On 20 October, the court arrested her in absentia.
