Case summary

On 23 March 2022, Bychkova was searched and questioned on that day and the next. A week later, it became known that she was a suspect in the case of participation in an extremist community against Alexei Navalny and his supporters. Bychkova was also charged with participation in the activities of a non-profit organisation infringing on the personality and rights of citizens. Later, the charges related to the extremist community were dropped due to the fact that Bychkova testified against other defendants. On 16 January, she was sentenced to a year of restricted freedom.
