Case summary
On 5 May 2023, he was detained at Moscow's Sheremetyevo airport. According to the law enforcers, Chernyshov was behaving aggressively and cursing, so he was charged with petty hooliganism (Article 20.1 of the Code of Administrative Offences) and arrested for 15 days. At the end of the administrative arrest, the court sent him to custody in a criminal case on smuggling of cultural property. On 4th April 2024, Chernyshov was sentenced to three years' suspended sentence.
