According to the investigation, "on November 19, 2024, being in the training centre of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, he voluntarily joined the 48th separate assault battalion of the Crimean Tatar Volunteer Battalion. From 22 November 2024 to 2 January 2025, he participated in battles, performing the duties of a machine gunner. He fought on the territory of the Velykonovosyolovsky district of the DNR in the area of Makarovka village.
