Case summary

On 25 February 2014, he was detained and interrogated in the case about the activities of the Hizb ut-Tahrir cell in Bashkortostan, after which he was released. In early March he was questioned again, then arrested. On 10 June 2015, sentenced to five and a half years in a general regime colony. He was released in September 2019.

In 2011, he was sentenced to a year of suspended sentence on charges of organising activities of an extremist organisation.
