Case summary
On 25 February 2014, detained on charges of participation in the activities of the Hizb ut-Tahrir cell. A search was conducted and he was arrested. On 10 June 2015, he was sentenced to six and a half years in a general regime colony. Upon arrival at the colony, immediately sent to a cell-type room, three months later sent to a strict regime colony in a single cell-type room for a year. He was released in August 2020.
In 2011, he was sentenced to a year suspended sentence for participation in the activities of an extremist organisation.
