Case summary

Detained on 12 June 2017 during the dispersal of an anti-corruption rally in Moscow, he was a minor at the time. Accused of using violence against a government official - according to the investigation, Galyashkin sprayed gas in the face of a riot policeman. On 16 June he was placed under house arrest. At the trial, which began in October, Galyashkin pleaded guilty. On 1 March 2018, he was sentenced to a year of suspended sentence.
