Case summary
On March 18, 2021 he was detained, injured while trying to escape, was hospitalized, where he was operated on. On April 29, he was placed under house arrest. At first Gazdiev was charged with the use of violence against a representative of the authorities, dangerous to life and health, then reclassified to the use of non-dangerous violence. On November 25, 2021, he was sentenced to three months in a general regime penal colony, released from execution of the sentence due to completion of the term.
