Case summary
Ukrainian serviceman. On 8 February 2024, he was captured. Several videos were released in which he criticised the Ukrainian command and called on Ukrainian servicemen to refuse to serve and surrender. On 1 July 2024, Generaliuk was included in the list of extremists and terrorists of Rosfinmonitoring with a marking that is put with the names of people prosecuted under terrorist articles. In August, the prosecutor's office of the so-called Luhansk People's Republic reported that Generaliuk had been charged with participation in the activities of a terrorist community. The reason was his alleged service in the Donbas battalion.
