According to the investigation, in the period from 16 February to 17 June 2024, he participated in the activities of the Legion "Freedom of Russia", recognized as a terrorist organization in the Russian Federation. At the same time, he was an opponent of the "special military operation" and was "guided by the motive of political enmity towards representatives of the state authorities of the Russian Federation". "Established" a "communication channel" on the Internet with a citizen previously unknown to him (and not identified by the investigation), acting in the interests of the Legion "Freedom of Russia" (LFR). On 20 February 2024, he sent him a completed questionnaire to join the Legion and expressed his willingness to provide information about the location of military units in Murmansk. On 2, 10, 18 and 23 March 2024, he took photographs of the buildings and structures of the military unit, the naval hospital, railway tracks and trains on them, and on 6 May he made a video recording of the rehearsal of the military parade in honour of Victory Day. He sent all the filmed photos to an "unidentified person" acting in the interests of LFR.
