Case summary
The owner of the Pose bar in Orenburg. In early March 2024, the Interior Ministry and OMON conducted a raid in the bar, the video of which was posted by members of the pro-government movement "Russian Community of Orenburg". Visitors in the video were humiliated and asked what they were doing in a "fag club". The "Russian Community" also said that 20 people were forced to write statements about the "illegal activities" of the establishment. On Mar 28, 2024, the owner of the bar was detained at Moscow's Sheremetyevo airport. On Mar 31, he was taken into custody on charges of organising activities of an extremist organisation.
