Case summary

A resident of Kaliningrad, Khairullin came under investigation in June 2021 for repeated violations of the regulations on holding public events. On 20 August he was placed under recognisance as a suspect in the case. The measure was cancelled on 30 August but reimposed on 24 January 2022.

On 8 August 2022, Khairullin was sentenced to one year in a general-regime colony. He was released on 22 June 2023.
