Case summary
On 6 June 2015, police officers came to Kalmykova's mother, who lives in the town of Kogalym, Khanty-Mansiysk Autonomous District, and asked where Kalmykova was; on 8 June, an investigator summoned Kalmykova in connection with the initiation of a criminal case; on 10 June, a preventive measure was chosen against Kalmykova in the form of personal recognizance; the case mentions a solitary picket in honour of Nadezhda Savchenko's birthday outside the Matrosskaya Tishina pre-trial detention facility on 11 May 2015, being on Bolotnaya Square on the third anniversary of the 6 May 2012 rally, protest on 26 May outside the Ministry of Economic Development in support of small businesses, and protest in support of Savchenko on Lubyanka on 26 January.
Kalmykova was under a custodial sentence. In January 2016, it became known that she left Russia. On 4 February, the court decided to arrest Kalmykova in absentia and put her on a wanted list; on 31 May, the court returned the case to the prosecutor's office
