Case summary

A resident of the Moscow region, a technician repairman. On 4 April 2025, his home was searched on the basis of some operational information that he was a supporter of right-wing radical ideas. Three messages were found in Khoroshko's phone - correspondence with an account which, according to the investigation, belonged to the leader of the Artpodgotovka movement, Vyacheslav Maltsev. Khoroshko was taken into custody on charges of preparing to participate in a terrorist organisation. The website of the court, which considered the appeal against the decision to elect a preventive measure, indicated the charge of preparing to organise the activities of a terrorist organisation. Later, apparently, he was charged directly with participation in the activities of a terrorist organisation and facilitation of terrorist activities: in addition to correspondence, he was accused of purchasing equipment for "participation in guerrilla-terrorist activities". On 16 March 2026, Khoroshko was sentenced to 16 years in a strict regime colony.
