Case summary
Resident of Cherkessk. Master of Sport in boxing, in 2002 got the title of Champion of Russia. On 24 November 2014, he was detained on charges of organising activities of an extremist organisation due to his involvement in the activities of the Islamic movement Tablighi Jamaat. Its adherents are persecuted solely because of religious activities. On 14 May 2015, Khrachev was sentenced to three years' suspended sentence.
