Case summary
A resident of Karachay-Cherkessia, supporter of the "cCtizens of the USSR" movement. Detained in May 2022 and taken into custody on charges of participation in the activities of an extremist community. On 14 July 2025, Ilichev was sentenced to five years in a general regime colony. On 4 February 2026, the court of appeal reduced the sentence to three and a half years. On 27 February 2026, Ilichev was released.
