On 10 January 2015, he took part in a solitary picket on Manezhnaya Square on the occasion of the attack on the editorial office of the Paris satirical magazine Charlie Hebdo; on 15 January 2015, he took part in a rally on Manezhnaya Square in connection with the verdict in the Yves Rocher case against Alexei and Oleg Navalny; On 21 March 2015, in a solitary picket on Pushkin Square in favour of a change of power; on 11 May 2015, in a rally near the Matrosskaya Tishina pre-trial detention centre on the birthday of Nadiya Savchenko, a Ukrainian pilot accused of involvement in the murder of Russian journalists. Previously, the case did not include the events of 21 March and 11 May, but instead included a solitary picket on 13 September 2014 near the monument to Marshal Zhukov on Manezhnaya Square with the poster "Putin is there, you don't need a mind" and an action on Manezhnaya Square with anti-Putin posters on 14 September 2014.

Full summary
On 16 January, Ionov was taken from the court, where the administrative cases of 10 and 15 January were being considered (Ionov was fined 20,000 and 150,000 respectively - for 15 January he was charged with "repeated violation" at the event under part 8 of article 20.2 of the Administrative Code, also introduced in July 2014). 8 of Article 20.2 of the Code of Administrative Offences, also enacted in July 2014), Ionov was taken back to the IAB, and from there to the prosecutor's office, where he was presented with a ruling to initiate a criminal case.
On 10 July it became known that the offences of 13 and 14 September were excluded from the case and the offences of 21 March and 11 May were added.
The prosecution demanded that Ionov be sentenced to three years' suspended imprisonment. On 21 December, two days before making his last word in court, Ionov said that he had left Russia and was on the territory of Ukraine. On 19 January 2016, he was put on the federal wanted list. In August 2016, he was granted refugee status. In January 2018, Ionov's case was returned to the prosecutor's office.
