Case summary

Detained during the dispersal of an anti-corruption rally on 12 June 2017 in Moscow. Charged with hooliganism - it was alleged that he threw a firecracker. On the next day he was taken on personal recognizance. Four days after the action, the OMON fighter wrote a statement in which he indicated that he fell and injured his left arm after an unknown person pushed him in the back. On 29 June, the court decided to take him into custody. Iskakov was charged with three episodes of violence against a representative of the authorities. Later, hooliganism and one of the violent episodes were excluded from the case. Iskakov initially did not admit guilt, but then admitted to two episodes of violence and agreed to a special trial.
