Case summary
Resident of Karachay-Cherkessia. Allegedly tried in a theft case. On 28 May 2024, taken into custody on charges of organising activities of an extremist organisation in connection with alleged involvement in At-Takfir Wal-Hijra. Some scholars and human rights activists believe that no such organisation exists. On 27 October 2025, Kabardaev was sentenced to six years and three months in a general regime colony.
