Case summary
Resident of Karachay-Cherkessia. 28 May 2024 taken into custody on charges of involvement in the activities of an extremist organisation in connection with alleged involvement in At-Taqfir Wal-Hijra. Some scholars and human rights activists believe that such organisation does not exist. On 27 October 2025, Koshev was sentenced to imprisonment in a general regime colony.
