Case summary
Detained in Naberezhnye Chelny on 27 May after searches, arrested on 29 May on charges of organising activities of an extremist organisation (part 1 of article 282.2 of the Criminal Code). On 2 November he was transferred to house arrest. Later released on his own recognisance. On 27 November 2019, the court returned the case to the prosecutor's office, noting that the court and the defendants were provided with different texts of indictments and that the principle of qualification of the actions of the defendants under part 1 or part 2 of article 282.2 of the Criminal Code by the investigation was unclear. In April 2020, the investigation was resumed.
On 16 December 2021, he was sentenced to two and a half suspended sentences.
