Case summary
Detained on 12 October 2017. According to police reports, seized bottles with incendiary mixture, with which Korny and his accomplices allegedly planned to set fire to hay, decorations and the remains of construction debris on Manezhnaya Square, which remained there after the city holiday. On the same day he was arrested under the administrative article on petty hooliganism. On 23 October a case on preparation of a terrorist act was opened. On 27 October he was taken into custody as part of the criminal case. Pleaded guilty.
18 June 2020 Sentenced to six years in a strict regime colony. On 10 June 2021 the court of appeal reduced the sentence by two months.
On 25 August 2023, he was released.
