According to the investigation, in March 2019, while stationed at the Belokurakinsko-Troitsky Joint District Military Commissariat of the Luhansk Region of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine, being aware of the terrorist nature of the Aidar Battalion's activities, wanting to be provided with a monthly salary, that is, for selfish motives, he voluntarily became a member, signing a contract for military service in the 24th Aidar Assault Battalion of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, receiving a uniform and standard firearms with ammunition for it, and was enlisted as a member of the formation. Further, while armed with a firearm, until September 2019, he was assigned to perform duties related to supporting the activities of the terrorist community, including the delivery of food to the battalion's deployment locations located at combat positions near the town of Chasov Yar in the Artemovsky district and the town of Konstantinovka in the Kramatorsk district of the Donetsk People's Republic, fulfilling his assigned role in the terrorist community.
