Case summary

A resident of Chernyshevsky District, Zabaikalsky Krai. In August 2023, he was detained and taken into custody on charges of attempted arson of a military recruitment centre. After his detention, Lovchikov said he was trying to avenge his brother, who had been punished for leaving the military unit unauthorised. Later, the charge was reclassified to committing a terrorist act, while the rag set on fire did not reach the building. On 26 February 2024, Lovchikov was sentenced to 11 years in a strict regime colony.
