Case summary
In July 2019, Malyanov's home was searched as part of a case on the activities of an extremist organisation. A preventive measure in the form of a ban on certain actions was elected. On 26 April 2023, Malyanov was sentenced to a fine of 700 thousand rubles. On 27 July, the court of appeal added to the sentence a ban on holding any positions in religious and public organisations for 2 years and 11 months.
