Case summary

On 9 July 2020, a case of participation in the activities of an extremist organisation was opened against Zhivolupov. On 17 July, he was given a covenant not to leave the country. On 26 April 2023, Zhivolupov was sentenced to a fine of 500 thousand rubles. On August 3, the court of appeal added to the sentence a ban on holding any positions in religious and public organisations for 2 years and 11 months.
