Case summary

On 2 February 2011, officers of the Centre for Countering Extremism searched Malyshkin's place of residence; Malyshkin was taken to the police station, where he was held for more than a day without food and water, without sleep and under pressure (including physical pressure) in order to obtain confessions from other members of the Barnaul anarchist community; during the search, police officers seized computers and other office equipment; the search was conducted with procedural violations.
